For this list, I chose to focus on three types of books:
- Books I wanted to read that could loosely be termed a 'classic'
- Books accepted as 'classics' that missed the first list
- Books by authors underrepresented in 'classic' lit (e.g., women, queer authors, international authors, authors of color, politically repressed authors)
