Dear readers,
I want you all to know that I'm diligently attacking Proust. In my fervor, it's possible that I just accidentally read the third volume directly after the first volume, bypassing the second completely. Whoops!
Expect two posts in quick succession, but not for some time.
One step forward, two steps back....
I gave myself the task of reading 100 "classic" novels. After six years, I finished those 100, and have moved on to tackle another 100. Here are the rules I designed: (1) I must start AND finish every book. (2) I must read every book, including the ones I've already read. (3) I'm required to read all books in a series. No exceptions. (4) I'm not allowed to blog about a book before I've finished it; each book deserves its fair shot, cover to cover.
Looking forward to it! ;)
ReplyDeleteSo upon reading this post, I immediately thought of this music video (because of the chorus): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xweiQukBM_k
ReplyDeleteI mean, Proust probably reminds EVERYBODY of Paula Adbul dancing with an animated cat.
Also, you're a super starrrrrrrr and any way you look at it, you are 2/7 done with the novel! Because really I think the commutative property applies here.
